It’s getting far too crowded in here
Just you and me, and then they appear
is it unfair to want you alone?
Once thoughts are in everything’s blown

You can’t let go, top to bottom
So much time, should be forgotten

It’s kinda strange
Competing with a ghost
How do their charms
Control you the most

Living rent free inside your head
Taking up space where I should be instead

I want you all to myself, true
But that doesn’t make me selfish, to you
A different life, a distant past
How long will it last?

I’ve looked up and down
Spent my days all over this town
Trying hard just to fill that void
Don’t want to see it destroyed

You’re not the only one
To have loved before
But now it’s time
To show them the door

Thinking of them when it should be me instead

If we want to be serious
There’s only room for two of us
Make up your mind if we’re meant to be
