It’s all touch and go

Cursed to live in

Crisis is just

All gauges are green
Like a shot of caffeine
But there are doubts

Slowly Inching forward
Gently closing the gap
Don’t want to collide
Don’t want a bad mishap
Want my pedal to the metal
Want the throttle to the wall
Itching to go I just want to fly

(feels like it’s) 2 steps forward
Then it’s 3 steps back
Tired of standing still
But I watch for the flag

Though I’m hot I just chill
I can’t move by sheer will
Hurry and wait

Can’t get where I’m going

Blocking all paths
